Conspiracy Theories before Conspiracy?

In ancient times first things came first. Something happened. Then the public was fed some nonsense.

But we live in modern times. The PNAC announced a "new Pearl Harbor" and delivered on 9/11, together with a hazardous conspiracy theory regarding old CIA-pupil Osama and the 19 box cutters...

Several months ago Michael Chertoff announced a nuclear attack on some west coast city. So far he did not deliver.

Now there are strange words from Colin Powell, Joe Biden, Mad. Albright and others: something WILL happen shortly after Obama is elected.

There WILL be "a crisis". A totally unexpected crisis, preferably around Jan 21/22.

We understand. Make your bets. Will it be "9/11 reloaded" and martial law, a little further expansion of WW IV (better profits), or is there something new on the menu?

Quote of Source from Steve Watson/infowars.net incl. video / audio of the funny announcements:

Colin Powell has made bizarre comments that echo the recent declaration by Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden that there will be an "international crisis" early into Barack Obama's presidency that will test the new president by forcing him to make unpopular decisions.

Speaking on meet the press two days ago, Powell officially endorsed Obama and also made the following statement:

"The problems will always be there and there's going to be a crisis which will come along on the 21st, 22nd of January that we don't even know about right now.

So I think what the President has to start to do is to start using the power of the oval office and the power of his personality to convince the American people and convince the world that America is solid, that America is going to move forward, we are going to fix our economic problems, we're going to meet out overseas obligations."

Watch Powell make the comment at 2.35 into the following video:

Is Colin Powell referring to a theoretical crisis that could occur at any time? If so why does he choose a specific date, within the first two days after the inauguration? Also why does he refer to general problems that the new president will have to deal with in a separate context? We are already in an economic crisis, everyone knows that, so what new crisis is Powell talking about?

Whatever you read into Powell's comments, they sound somewhat bizarre, particularly as they come on the back of Joe Biden's "guarantee" of a "generated crisis" to "test the mettle" of the new leader within six months of the new presidential term:

What does Biden mean by "generated crisis"? It is an undeniably strange term to use.

His reference to John F. Kennedy indicates that Biden may have been referring some kind of geopolitical crisis in the vain of the Cuban missile crisis of April 1961. The confrontation between the United States, the Soviet Union, and Cuba at the height of the Cold War came within the first four months of JFK's presidency.

Obama's running mate made the comments at a fundraising event in Seattle two days ago, on the same day Powell also spoke of a coming crisis.

We shouldn't be surprised at Powell's comments however, given that the former Secretary of State seemingly has a knack for predicting events before they take place.

Previous to the beginning of the Iraq war in February 2003, an audio tape containing a voice described as that of Osama Bin Laden was touted as proof positive of Al Qaeda links with Saddam Hussein.

Hours before the tape was discovered and aired by TV channel Al Jazeera, Powell announced in the US Senate that a “Bin Laden tape is coming proving Iraq’s links with Al-Qaeda.”

This led some to raise the question how does Colin Powell know what Al Jazeera are going to broadcast before they do?

In an amazing and timely coincidence, the tape came barely a week after Powell's attempts to link Al Qaeda and Saddam in his botched presentation of lies and exaggerations before the UN Security Council.

They did it once. They will try again. Is KBR/Halliburton finished with the concentration camps? Will fill up quickly.

Oh, and don't fret because I quote Alex Jones and his gang. This guy has his own agenda and talks a lot of crap sometimes. But in between he gets very close to the truth.

Andrew Lahde: Hedge Fund off, Hemp on.

Usually I rather recommend closing down the "financial market" casino and putting all those fund managers, investment bankers and other non-productive gamblers to good use - e.g. planting trees or doing something else real and useful.

But this time one of these guys made me smile. Andrew Ladhe was an unconventional type of hedge fund tycoon, had foreseen the "financial crisis" some time before (as have many out-of-the box thinkers, therefor usually bearing the mark "conspiracy theory nut" on their forehead) and made incredible profits by consequently going against the market.

Now he takes his leave, and not without writing a rather cool sign-off letter. Made me laugh and is worth remembering. Quote (original on Financial Times website)

Today I write not to gloat. Given the pain that nearly everyone is experiencing, that would be entirely inappropriate. Nor am I writing to make further predictions, as most of my forecasts in previous letters have unfolded or are in the process of unfolding. Instead, I am writing to say goodbye.

Recently, on the front page of Section C of the Wall Street Journal, a hedge fund manager who was also closing up shop (a $300 million fund), was quoted as saying, “What I have learned about the hedge fund business is that I hate it.” I could not agree more with that statement. I was in this game for the money. The low hanging fruit, i.e. idiots whose parents paid for prep school, Yale, and then the Harvard MBA, was there for the taking. These people who were (often) truly not worthy of the education they received (or supposedly received) rose to the top of companies such as AIG, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and all levels of our government. All of this behavior supporting the Aristocracy only ended up making it easier for me to find people stupid enough to take the other side of my trades. God bless America.

There are far too many people for me to sincerely thank for my success. However, I do not want to sound like a Hollywood actor accepting an award. The money was reward enough. Furthermore, the endless list of those deserving thanks know who they are.

I will no longer manage money for other people or institutions. I have enough of my own wealth to manage. Some people, who think they have arrived at a reasonable estimate of my net worth, might be surprised that I would call it quits with such a small war chest. That is fine; I am content with my rewards. Moreover, I will let others try to amass nine, ten or eleven figure net worths. Meanwhile, their lives suck. Appointments back to back, booked solid for the next three months, they lookforward to their two week vacation in January during which they will likely be glued to their Blackberries or other such devices. What is the point? They will all be forgotten in fifty years anyway. Steve Balmer, Steven Cohen, and Larry Ellison will all be forgotten. I do not understand the legacy thing. Nearly everyone will be forgotten. Give up on leaving your mark. Throw the Blackberry away and enjoy life.

So this is it. With all due respect, I am dropping out. Please do not expect any type of reply to emails or voicemails within normal time frames or at all. Andy Springer and his company will be handling the dissolution of the fund. And don’t worry about my employees, they were always employed by Mr. Springer’s company and only one (who has been well-rewarded) will lose his job.

I have no interest in any deals in which anyone would like me to participate. I truly do not have a strong opinion about any market right now, other than to say that things will continue to get worse for some time, probably years. I am content sitting on the sidelines and waiting. After all, sitting and waiting is how we made money from the subprime debacle. I now have time to repair my health, which was destroyed by the stress I layered onto myself over the past two years, as well as my entire life – where I had to compete for spaces in universities and graduate schools, jobs and assets under management – with those who had all the advantages (rich parents) that I did not. May meritocracy be part of a new form of government, which needs to be established.

On the issue of the U.S. Government, I would like to make a modest proposal. First, I point out the obvious flaws, whereby legislation was repeatedly brought forth to Congress over the past eight years, which would have reigned in the predatory lending practices of now mostly defunct institutions. These institutions regularly filled the coffers of both parties in return for voting down all of this legislation designed to protect the common citizen. This is an outrage, yet no one seems to know or care about it. Since Thomas Jefferson and Adam Smith passed, I would argue that there has been a dearth of worthy philosophers in this country, at least ones focused on improving government. Capitalism worked for two hundred years, but times change, and systems become corrupt. George Soros, a man of staggering wealth, has stated that he would like to be remembered as a philosopher. My suggestion is that this great man start and sponsor a forum for great minds to come together to create a new system of government that truly represents the common man’s interest, while at the same time creating rewards great enough to attract the best and brightest minds to serve in government roles without having to rely on corruption to further their interests or lifestyles. This forum could be similar to the one used to create the operating system, Linux, which competes with Microsoft’s near monopoly. I believe there is an answer, but for now the system is clearly broken.

Lastly, while I still have an audience, I would like to bring attention to an alternative food and energy source. You won’t see it included in BP’s, “Feel good. We are working on sustainable solutions,” television commercials, nor is it mentioned in ADM’s similar commercials. But hemp has been used for at least 5,000 years for cloth and food, as well as just about everything that is produced from petroleum products. Hemp is not marijuana and vice versa. Hemp is the male plant and it grows like a weed, hence the slang term. The original American flag was made of hemp fiber and our Constitution was printed on paper made of hemp. It was used as recently as World War II by the U.S. Government, and then promptly made illegal after the war was won. At a time when rhetoric is flying about becoming more self-sufficient in terms of energy, why is it illegal to grow this plant in this country? Ah, the female. The evil female plant – marijuana. It gets you high, it makes you laugh, it does not produce a hangover. Unlike alcohol, it does not result in bar fights or wife beating. So, why is this innocuous plant illegal? Is it a gateway drug? No, that would be alcohol, which is so heavily advertised in this country. My only conclusion as to why it is illegal, is that Corporate America, which owns Congress, would rather sell you Paxil, Zoloft, Xanax and other addictive drugs, than allow you to grow a plant in your home without some of the profits going into their coffers. This policy is ludicrous. It has surely contributed to our dependency on foreign energy sources. Our policies have other countries literally laughing at our stupidity, most notably Canada, as well as several European nations (both Eastern and Western). You would not know this by paying attention to U.S. media sources though, as they tend not to elaborate on who is laughing at the United States this week. Please people, let’s stop the rhetoric and start thinking about how we can truly become self-sufficient.

With that I say goodbye and good luck.

All the best,

Andrew Lahde

'kay buddy, have a good smoke, whereever you go. ;-) I can't say I really like your type, but you have shown an unusual amount of coolness, honesty and boldness. And some wisdom. Have a good life.

Bird Porn is the end of, errr, whatever...

Penguin Porn - image from wikimedia

Heck yeah, this country has a moral problem. NO, I am not talking about the "9/11" inside job, the oil mafia that runs the government, the prudish christian bigot bodyhaters, the rotten financial system, the wars that turn body bags to profit, certain corrupt politicians who can sometimes see Russia, or anything else that would normally come to mind.

No, the end to western moral and freedom and everything is:

BIRD WATCHING.

Yes.

Bird. Watching.

Bad, baad thing.

But now there is a website to end this perverted "sport" and to hinder the moral decline of our society:

Our mission

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service forty eight million people watch birds. We have discovered that certain demographics of Bird Watchers are more sexually active than others. The elderly find that bird watching is not strenuous. And this erotic experience can be enjoyed privately through binoculars. Most disturbing are the groups of bird watchers seeking vicarious sexual gratification in the woods.

A psychologist who studies bird watching says: “Adults, disguised as bird watchers mask their debauchery by taking trips in groups. They can then achieve climax in the safety of the woods. Particularly disturbing is the high number of senior citizens using binoculars and telescopes to observe birds mating.

“These horny Peeping Toms satisfy their craving for sex by focusing their debasement on birds. This perversion must be halted, otherwise the entire moral fibre of our nation is going to hell.”.

A former birdwatcher, who recently resigned from his club in Meritt Island, FL, said: “I am sad about the reprehensible behavior of these bird watchers who need to satisfy their pornographic pleasures. Shame on them!”.

A member of Congress, who requested anonymity, is quietly drafting legislature that would levy stiff fines against people caught with bird porn in their possession, either photos or internet images.

For further information on how you can help discourage senior citizens from bird watching and, instead, to channel their energies into socially accepted activities, please email us at info@stopbirdporn.org or call us at (212) 592 3677.

P.S. For those who think it’s a joke or a hoax, we have to disappoint you - the problem is real and there is absolutely nothing funny about birds being abused.

No, that's no joke. This is from http://www.stopbirdporn.org
Good you guys are at it. Seriously.

"Socially accepted activities". Sure. Like what?

Ah, understand. Lets mate in the woods instead of watching birds do it...

Palin on a post...

For those who did not understand the term "post turtle" in the last article - here is the story:

"While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.
Eventually the topic got around to Sarah Palin and her bid to be a heartbeat away from being President.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Palin is a post turtle.'

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was.

The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle.'

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain. 'You know she didn't get up there by herself, she doesn't belong up there, she doesn't know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put her up there to begin with. "

No further explanation needed, eh? Old, but always right.

New Direction, Erection, whatever...

Big *lol*. Wendi Friesen (cool girl and one of the better hypnotists out there) got a good one on twitter today.
HypnoticTwitter alert- Everytime you hear McCain or Obama say New Direction, you will instantly hear Nude Erection, and visuuaaliiize.

*rofl* - yep, this IS one of the most over-used and bullshittish phrases in this campaign.

"New direction"? Same old crap, same old lies, same old rip-offs. Obama or McCain, that old CFR-conspirator Biden or post-turtle Palin - they serve the same masters. Does. Not. Matter.

So better visualize as Wendi suggested and lough out loud...
